The creation of Capstone as a corporate body was strongly inspired by discussions between advisory board members of professional communities of practice and networks, especially what had been known as V360 - A Partnerhsip for Green & Resilient Growth, which focused on result-based governance for sustainability.
Those discussions revealed a market need for difficult-to-find, high-calibre talent that is able to support sector transformation efforts across the 3E’s (energy, environment, extractives), no matter where in the world that need arises. Further market sounding confirmed this.
The springboard for Capstone was therefore set, and the company was formally launched end of 2017 and operations commencing in 2018.
